Chopin & Friends concert by candle glow (Gdańsk)

The candlelit piano concerts are dedicated to the outstanding and most popular Polish composer, Fryderyk Chopin. His works are recognized around the world, and his name stands among the greatest composers of all time. Chopin’s pieces are considered some of the most beautiful piano compositions in the history of music.

In addition to selected works by Chopin, we will also hear some of the most captivating piano compositions by world-renowned composers such as Bach, Beethoven, Liszt, Schumann, and Rachmaninoff.

What makes our concerts truly unique is, above all, their venue: the Rectoral Church of the Carmelite Fathers of St. Catherine — a massive Gothic church from the 13th century with exceptional acoustics. The sound of the piano illuminated by candlelight in such a space guarantees an unforgettable emotional experience and a concert that will stay in the memory for a long time.
